Neighbourhood Meeting - Proposed Development (229-239 Victoria Street South)

The City of Kitchener has received applications for Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments (OPA and ZBA) proposing to redevelop the subject lands with a 17-storey apartment building with 153 dwelling units and 72 parking spaces. The OPA requests to introduce a site-specific policy to the existing ‘Medium Density Residential’ land use designation to permit the proposed height and Floor Space Ratio (FSR). The requested ZBA requests site-specific provisions regarding building height, Floor Space Ratio (FSR), parking supply, location of parking, and landscaped open space.

This meeting is your opportunity to:

Learn more about the proposed application and how the process works
Let City staff know your thoughts on the proposal
Ask questions of City staff and the applicant
