This is one of the projects that got a water allocation from the Region in the first release meaning it can go ahead to construction, the city now has all required permits applied for and under review. In total there is 3 permits that are in progress: Shoring and Site Servicing, Balance of Construction (Apartment), and Balance of Construction (Fire Hall).
The GC on this will be Bird, I can't recall them being involved in any projects in the Region, but they're one of your larger GC companies similar to the likes of EllisDon, PCL, Ledcor, and Graham.
Construction should commence in the coming weeks with road closures on both King and Madison.
