It seems that the mall is doing some minor updates as well in conjunction with Canadian Tire opening up. They are sprucing up the entrances and adding curbs in the parking lot, both front and rear. It's a bit strange, the mall is one of those tired old neighbourhood malls that you expect to be demolished one day, but they actually seem to be doing okay all things considered. Shoppers moving in consolidated a lot of smaller spaces into one larger one that will probably be easier to keep leased, as did Pet Valu to a much smaller extent. There are a few unleased spots in the mall, so it will be interesting to see what they manage to do with them.
