Last night when it was brought forward again staff/VanMar said that NAVCAN has no issues with it and council had no questions for the applicant or even staff so it immediately got approval. It's certainly strange to see such a tall building get approved that easily.
This is good news. The city needs to approve as many builds as they can. As for Anti-Housing Minister Chapman, I don't think this is in district, so no need to go against after losing an MPP spot for the NDP.
