If they didn't use red brick or that weird red metal on the other side it could be okay. There is just way too much going on but also makes me think of a hospital or something. If they had to use brick, then a dark colour would have been preferable to me, something like the Lago in Toronto: https://architizer-prod.imgix.net/media/...o_0126.jpg

Red brick is classic.  Black/grey brick is the vastly overused flavour of the moment.  Imho.
