Waterloo Region reported 14 new cases for today (15.4% of the active cases) -- and three additional cases for yesterday (now 12 cases total, 12.5% of actives). 85 new cases for the week (+5), averaging 12.4% of active cases. 91 active cases (-37 in the last seven days).
Note: Waterloo Region has now switched to reporting at 1:30 PM, using data from preceding midnight, so there should be fewer corrections to the previous days' data in the future.
Next testing report on Friday.
Ontario reported 790 new cases today with a seven-day average of 753 (+10). 719 recoveries and nine deaths translated to an increase of 62 active cases, and a current total of 6,299, another new record. +415 active cases for the week. Only 32,646 tests resulted in a high 2.42% positivity rate. The positivity rate is averaging 2.18% for the past seven days.
ICU patient count is down slightly to 71 (-1).

WRPS have evidence to suggest that the 3 Walmart fires were started by an anti-masker. An average of 2,007 tests for the past week, with an average positivity rate of 0.93%, a significant improvement from last week.
Ontario reported 826 new cases today with a seven-day average of 778 (+16). 733 recoveries and nine deaths translated to an increase of 84 active cases, and a current total of 6,474, yet another new record. +601 active cases for the week. 40,019 tests resulted in a 2.06% positivity rate. The positivity rate is averaging 2.24% for the past seven days.
