I wonder if the Costco site on Gateway Park/Sportsworld would be a good location for an athletics facility of some sort one day. Not necessarily central, but it would have great transit and highway access.

There are hockey rinks in the neighbourhood already, so perhaps.

Surely the Centennial Stadium location would be the most logical. It's central, accessible by both transit and highway, can share parking with the Auditorium, and the city already owns the land.

What are they building in Cherry Park right across from the church? It look octagonal in shape.
