I'm okay. I was a bit down over winter.  Felt bored tbh in this region.  Not looking to get into argument but I do feel there is a lack of activities.

Southern Ontario really doesn't have a lot of events in winter. You can do skiing (cross-country or downhill), skating, hockey or other winter sports, but you'll need to join a group or go out an be active on your own.

Local events will be picking up next month with the arrival of warmer weather.

I never really grew up with 'winter activities'. Did a little snowboarding in HS. My father would get extreme shivers coming out in evening to my elementary school concert. We ain't built for it lol. I know if you get proper gear it can work.

I grew up in a cold country but I still prefer indoor activities in winter. Fortunately there are many facilities that offer various types of participatory indoor sports: badminton, pickleball, indoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer etc.

McDonald’s site and the property next door for sale.

Wow never thought Mcdonalds would sell this property.

Too bad it wasn't sold at the height of the market. I can't see anything being built here for at least a decade, unless Vive buys it and builds a grey precast prison. Maybe the City or Region should look at buying these properties. If they could somehow buy up the whole block and building an urban park that would look great.

Almost 10 million for 1 acre between the two properties.

Thank you for the good news! Great to see this lot finally up for sale! Better late than never, and this is at least some hope for eventual redevelopment.

I think the asking price is much higher than what Vive would want to spend.

And probably also much higher than the city would want to spend on parkland. About 40m x 100m isn't really much of a park, anyway.

Great find! I can't believe they waited so long to offload this property.
