Just saw that.
So wait Tek crews start work at 4am? Damn that's early.

One of the comments says "6 am is too early. As a parent, I know how important sleep is for kids… 6 am is not fair to children." Lol...pretty sure there are not children living at this construction site.
Hopefully the city does grant an earlier start, but since this is Kitchener/Region of Waterloo, I won't be surprised if they fuck it up. We've got one of the worst housing problems on the planet in this shithole country and we seem to do everything we can to make it worse for ourselves.

Lol...pretty sure there are not children living at this construction site. I’m actually 100% sure there are children living at station park in units that face the construction site. By reading the articles, they’ve stated that they are not working longer; just earlier so that workers can get home earlier. This decision to move construction start times earlier will have no impact on housing problems.

VanMar has gotten conditional Site Plan Approval for the additional height for Tower D, it is now 43 floors containing an additional 47 units on top of what was previously approved. They have applied for the underground parking garage permit and the above grade balance of construction permit so they have all the required permits for Tower D applied for so it wouldn't be surprising for VanMar to finish Tower C and move right to Tower D, but it will still entirely depend on sales.

Nice. Someone beat me to the Wikipedia page to update haha

How many more floors did they ask for?

It's going to be a nice little cluster of buildings when all done.

I could see Tower E get a floor increase. Also likely it will be redesigned by the time they are ready to build, which is unfortunate
