It's finally at the point where you can immediately tell SRM designed this.

This is honestly looking pretty good. I think the podium could have been flushed out a bit more,  but it is still miles ahead of DTK. There is nothing outstandingly bad about the tower. Finally we have a building that doesn't change shape or colour for the last 5 floors. It makes it look a lot more cohesive.  I do think that the balconies could have been a bit bigger, they look like there are going to be a bit too thin to actually be useful. I know they are going to go with glass balconies, but I think this tower would look even better if they went with metal balusters.

I'll always say something can be better haha. This isn't their worst project but it's very banal. They just don't seem to have any desire to be creative but that can often be explained by the fact the developers expect costs to be cut which results in a very basic design.

I think like 10-15 floors to go depending on progress since the last pics. So ~30% of the above podium still to go.

Drive down Weber St towards Kitchener.  Clearly see this tower growing.

There goes your nice view! Haha. Once Station Park, Victoria & Park, 130 Victoria (and a surprise project at the old mall parking lot there, should it ever actually come to fruition) get built, you'll lose a lot of the nice rolling landscape you see.

Yeah there was something breathtaking about #454. I'm happy any time some asphalt wasteland gets turned into anything. P.S. off-topic, but have we heard anything about King Centre/Manulife since 2017?
