NS Rail upcycles old train parts into household goods
#1
Umm...I had no idea where to put this, but I figured this would be a fun one for any fans of trains here.

NS Rail the Dutch national rail company has upcycled train parts (seems like mostly seat fabrics) into household goods you can buy. A fun enough thing to do, but probably not enough to distract from their current negative press.

Maybe GRT/RoW can start doing that considering how damn broke they are. It'd be nicer than wrapping more buses and light rail trains in adverts.

Neat concept. 50 years from now I could imagine that a Dutch Transportation Museum will have a corner dedicated to relics from the past that were repurposed into other things.
