RE: The Berlin - panamaniac - 04-13-2015 I will be glad to see that space being put to good use. Love the name of the restaurant as well the hours. RE: The Berlin - Spokes - 04-13-2015 Very excited to see this happen. That's such a nice space in there. RE: The Berlin - tomh009 - 04-14-2015 Fantastic! RE: The Berlin - Spokes - 06-05-2015 Anyone know when this might open? RE: The Berlin - panamaniac - 06-13-2015 (06-05-2015, 10:16 AM)Spokes Wrote: Anyone know when this might open? Soon, I hope, but I'm not sure - they seem to be doing a much more extensive renovation of the space than I would have expected. About bloody time (he says fondly remembering The Ratskeller et al restaurants.) RE: The Berlin - Spokes - 10-04-2015 (10-01-2015, 10:30 PM)notmyfriends Wrote: Two restaurants for Gushue... Two restaurants. Wow. Definitely bullish on downtown. RE: The Berlin - REnerd - 10-04-2015 Definitely a bold move - but excellent news as Downtown is desperate right now. If this happens there will actually be a bit of a nice destination node there - Graffiti, Berlin, TWH Social, Darlise and the Bruce. That is a hell of a start and will hopefully get people excited! I would have said less "desperate" than it has been for years. RE: The Berlin - tomh009 - 10-05-2015 Tiles were being removed from the outside of Berlin as of this morning. More progress, but it seems like a lot of work remains if they want to open by the end of this month. |
