Number of Tower Cranes 2014 - rangersfan - 01-08-2015 A tradition from WW that should be continued on WRC is the annual count and estimation of tower cranes. To me it seemed like a banner year for tower crane installations, too bad we don't have the old counts from WW for prior years. Anyway to kick things off lets try to recall the numbers from 2014: Cranes standing at the beginning of 2014 1 Victoria (December 2013) Drewlo Fallowfield Dr Apartment complex 1 Columbia St 171 Lester St Global Innovation Exchange crane 1 Global Innovation Exchange crane 2 Barrel Yards crane 1 Barrel Yards crane 2 Old Carriage Dr Apartment complex 208 Sunview New cranes installed in 2014 City Centre Victoria Commons Icon 330 (November 2014) Sage II (September 2014) Sage II (November 2014) Princess St project (December 2014) The Cortes on King (December 2014) St. Jerome's University Renewal  Barrel Yards Crane relocated for new 25 story tower (April 2014) The Grand Economical Insurance parking garage (November 2014) 256 Phillip St  UW Needles Hall Extension (Jan 2014) The Cortes on King Cranes taken down in 2014 1 Columbia St 171 Lester St Barrel Yards crane 1 208 Sunview Not 100% sure on these ones 144 Park - I believe was down before Jan 2014 Barrel Yards Hotel - Was it down before 2014? Please add any other tower installations + removals from 2014 and I will update the first post.
