Open Text - panamaniac - 10-22-2014 Strong first quarter results for Open Text. OpenText says first-quarter revenues grew 40 per cent as profits rose Waterloo Region Record WATERLOO — OpenText Corp. said Wednesday that first-quarter profits more than doubled as its enterprise information management software experienced particular strength in the services and technology industries, as well as the public sector. The Waterloo-based company, which reports in U.S. dollars, said that net income rose to $64.7 million US, or 53 cents per diluted share, compared with $30.6 million US or 26 cents per share a year ago. Revenue grew 40 per cent to $453.8 million US from $324.5 million US. No need to be sorry - I've parked out by that old house by the lake over there and walked around, and it seemed like a beautiful location - one I'd certainly love to work in. I can't imagine how nice it must be being in a quiet location like that, huge office towers overlooking the trees and lake... coming out to the patio at lunch. Seems very relaxing.
