I'd personally like to see a little more height variation. Maybe swap out one of the 3 long apartments for two mid rises?
Having a pair of 10-15 story towers in this area would fit nicely I think

Not a bad use of the space and shouldn't illicit any complaints from neighbours. I doubt the bike trail will actually be able to cross the LRT there, the intersection at Stirling is a 100m away.

WOW looks great. That land has been sitting empty for a while. Might be nice to see a few stories taller, but still a great improvement for the area.

As long as there's still a coffee shop for me to hop off the LRT, get a coffee and bagel, and the hop back on to continue heading to work, I'm good. Preferably via a mobile app so this introvert can limit whom he has to talk to. ;-)

Certainly better than an empty field. The condo developments are eventually coming for Grand River Rocks... they now have a second location but that location is bouldering not roped climbing.

Clearly this project is being geared to avoid any NIMBY'ism. I can't see any neighbour within a 10 km radius complaining of this, as would normally be par for course.

I think I also like the sketch more than the 3d model. It would provide a variation in the shape of buildings. I would also like to see a little be of variation in floors maybe up to 8 or ten for a section of one of the buildings. The sketch interact nicely with the lrt side of the property. The 3d model just has a small parking lot and 2 entrances for cars off Charles. Realistically they don't need each building to have a entrancing to the parking garage. Based on the sketch having the courtyards above parking they could just have one entrance into the building close to Charles street and one entrance into the building close to king street. Either way exciting to see a potential new project down the line. East end is going to be completely transformed in the next decade.

About time someone did something with this lot. It has been empty for so long.
Does anyone know why Charles Street East has that bend in it? I've always assumed that whoever owns the lot never wanted to sell, so the street had to go around, but maybe not.
