Movies or TV? What sort of shows do you like?

I think Chef's Table is amazing, but you've gotta be pretty into food to enjoy it.

Ozark, House of Cards,

Altered Carbon was one of my favourites of the last year. I like the show travelers too, decent sci-fi stuff. That movie Polar that just came out was kind of fun too.

Bojack Horseman

It all depends on what you are into. For example, a few months ago I watched an interesting miniseries on the unibomber on there. There's also stuff that people are raving about that I don't have any interest watching like that new bird box one or whatever it is called.

I've got a pretty wide range of interests. I was thinking TV shows, but if you've got a great movie recommendation, I'm all ears

I really like Ozarks, Narcos was great too. I watched the first season of house of cards and I think maybe I need to give it another shot.

Everyone at work is raving about the Netfilx documentary "Fyre".... I can't personally comment, but I'll be downloading it to watch myself in the near future.

Coke

So thats what I watched last night that made me post this thread.

It was good. I'd watch it. I have questions though (that likely don't have answers) haha

Some that come to mind pretty quickly:

Great Canadian shows: Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience, Workin' Moms (the first two require a bit of warm up, the last probably has the best pilot in Canadian TV history)
Fairly sexually explicit but not porn: Sex Education, Big Mouth
Killer standup specials: Mike Birbiglia (esp. My girlfriend's boyfriend), Iliza Shlesinger (esp War Paint), Jen Kirkman, Ali Wong (esp Hard Knock Wife)
Warm-hearted funny: Brooklyn 99, Bob's Burgers
The best show on TV right now: The Good Place

  • Schitt's Creek
  • The Good Place
  • Black Mirror (if you only watch one episode, watch S3E4/San Junipero)
  • House of Cards (for CLAIRE)
