RE: Grand River Transit - Rick O'Shay - 10-02-2016 I noticed a route 101 going up FH beside the 201 I wonder if the 101 will be off peak hours and not going to the college, but instead going down into Huron Village area. Interesting - it's like an alternate 201 that goes from UW station down F-H and past Westmount into Huron Village. I wonder what they intend for its frequency and time of service. I actually wonder that about the entire map. Is there any info out there regarding route frequencies and service hours for the proposed network? I didn't see anything at tehe consultation centre or online. RE: Grand River Transit - Canard - 10-03-2016 What's happening? RE: Grand River Transit - KevinL - 10-03-2016 Curious that the signs are up before route numbers are applied. I guess they will do that in-place once service resumes? Given the current state of the road and the fast as well as the fact that they didn't even bother to "print" the new stop flags with route numbers, I'll assume the latter. RE: Grand River Transit - Canard - 10-04-2016 Quote:or another pointless move by the geniuses at Grandlinq? Well, that's a bit snippy. I guess they will do that in-place once service resumes? Yeah, the numbers are just stickers applied after the fact. You can see it on other bus stops around town. I guess that it is GrandLinq's job to replace the signs, but GRT is the one making the decisions about routes, so it's much easier to just have GRT come by and apply the stickers after the fact on their own schedule. It was corrected to Hazel on the display board they had present. RE: Grand River Transit - KevinL - 10-04-2016 This just popped up on Twitter - not sure how the user got it, as I can't find an official source. I think they just pulled out a base map with 'all planned roads' to put this one onto. As a local resident there, I've heard nothing of the extension (nor any NIBMY from my neighbours). Personally, I'd love the bridge to come sooner rather than later... Coke RE: Grand River Transit - Elmira Guy - 10-05-2016 Yikes! That is not acceptable.
