Any word on where this project is at?

There has been a pretty consistent stream of construction in and around southworks but I don’t know if any of it is in relation to this project.

Groundbreaking this week

Anyone know why it has taken this long? They sold units 1.5 years ago

Much of the commercial space is under construction and close to completion, then assuming that the residential portion is next.

That looks nice.

Slow sales maybe?

RE: The Gaslight District | HIP Developments - JeffH - 09-27-2019

I received an email from HIP about phase 2 launch and groundbreaking for tonight

Looks like things are about to start.

RE: The Gaslight District | HIP Developments - Momo26 - 09-27-2019

Are you going to it Jeff?

RE: The Gaslight District | HIP Developments - Momo26 - 09-27-2019

I'm curious to see the price jump from phase 1 to this next phase II, especially since construction has not yet started on phase I tower(s)

RE: The Gaslight District | HIP Developments - SAM - 09-27-2019

The project was delayed because they had to work out the heritage issues with the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario. It was definitely not because of slow sales. Tower one sold out in 2 days.

Construction has been under way for a couple months now. The Ground Breaking Party tonight corresponds with the release of Tower 2.

Im also curious in terms of price compared to DTK. Obviously different markets, but HOW different

RE: The Gaslight District | HIP Developments - Momo26 - 09-27-2019

From what I recall not much different at all 1.5 years ago. Not sure how that's changed and how much more DTG (Downtown Galt) can command...

I wonder how many people will gaslight their family/friends/spouse in the Gaslight District.

Sorry, had to be asked....

Was by the site this evening and took a couple photos. Stuff is definitely happening here, but pretty slowly from what I can tell.
