Slow and Steady wins the race.... I hear they take all the left overs from the trucks at the rest of the downtown construction sites. This saves the truckers from having to find a spot on the construction site to dispose of the remaining load.

Sure looks like it. There's always ripped tarps flapping around whenever I drive by. I don't think site cleanup is a high priority.

Guys, stop getting your panties tied in a knot over this build. It WILL be completed by the time you retire, so you're retirement plans are not ruined.

I dunno, I can retire in 4 years !!

Well...OK...you'll be able to see the 12th floor rough-in for tower 1. Wish I had better news.

Now that the tower is showing up out of the podium I do think the shape of it is turning out ok.

RE: Drewlo Downtown project | 23 & 19 fl | U/C - tomh009 - 03-11-2022

Have been checking this at least once a week to gauge the progress. It took them a little over one month to put up the latest floor on the Madison/King tower. That's substantially slower than, say, Auburn, who was taking 2-3 weeks per floor on the Bow (aka Arrow 2).

Now, Auburn used precast on the above-ground portions, Drewlo does not, so I do expect that will result in slower construction here.

Projected Occupancy is Summer 2023

They'll need to speed up a bit, because I think this would require topping the first tower (23 floors?) by the end of 2022 and they are at only eight at the moment.

They're on the 10th floor of the north tower. Still a ways to go but I believe that's the shorter one so it could theoretically top out in 3-4 months.

It took them a month to put up the latest floor so I do thing 3-4 months is a bit optimistic. If it's the shorter tower, then they might indeed be able to top it out by the end of the year.

The site is super dusty, messy and cluttered. I also never see the crane moving or any workers there. Could be a while lol

Any updates for this?

It is progressing, but seems to be the slowest building project in the Region.

About one floor per month. Definitely not quick.
