There is a for lease sign on this lot now that has a render of a non-descript, single story, stucco faced, medical office. The firm is built by engineers.
Was hoping for something much more dense and visually appealing.

Iirc correctly, we've seen a render (conceptual) of a three or for storey commercial/office building on that site. Although that would have been several years ago.

I noticed that something is being built at the previous vacant Property at Victoria and Weichel. I also noticed a sign for a project beside the Barber shop a few properties down but I didn't have time to read it.

For the sign it says Coming Soon 6Vic it's going to be a 3 story condo building https://6vic.ca/
