The article has more details. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - panamaniac - 10-24-2015 There was a recent post wondering what was happening at the store front on King St between Water and Francis (former driving school) that is under renovation. It is going to be a juice and salad place. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - tomh009 - 10-24-2015 Isn't it open already? I thought I saw a juice and salad place there last week, although maybe I'm thinking of a different location. It is going to be a juice and salad place. This is poignant for me. I'm not likely to go a juice and salad place (but, hey, I might), but it's just such a great development that a storefront on King housing a driving school would become a little restaurant. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - Viewfromthe42 - 10-26-2015 That's somewhat peculiar, given it is right across the street from GoGo Mart, though it's hours are basically lunch-only, and just a bit down from Pure, which does salads and juice already. Walked by again yesterday, not much that I can see in terms of renovations. The refrigerators and counter displays were also empty...! RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - panamaniac - 10-29-2015 The sign at Niko Niko Sushi on King St E is coming down today. Are they now closed? RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - tomh009 - 10-29-2015 Their sign peviously said they were closing as of Nov 1st. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - KevinL - 10-29-2015 Looking bare and lonely. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - Spokes - 10-30-2015 Just imagine if this gets developed as well as a 2nd phase of the Breithaupt Block on their surface lot? That'd be quite nice. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - panamaniac - 11-02-2015 There is a sign in the window of the former Niko Niko restaurant announcing that it will become an Amaya Indian restaurant. Nice addition to the Downtown dining scene, if it's good. I never went, but all my co-workers said it was very good. RE: General Food, Dining and Nightlife News - tomh009 - 11-02-2015 Indeed it's the same Amaya, the logos match.
