Seattle's Floating Light Rail
#1
Sound Transit in the Seattle area is building an LRT that will be traveling over the I-90 floating bridge on Lake Washington.  Apparently this is a fairly unique solution requiring substantial innovation to allow the rail to deal with the movements of the floating bridge.  It is apparently ready to be built though.

Having sat in traffic on both the I-90 and the further north WA-520 bridges, it will be fantastic to have a transit option in it's own right of way.
