Quote:The Indigenous artist Luke Swinson’s work “The Blue Heron” will hang on the side of the Charlie West condo tower that is rising at Charles and Gaukel streets.

The heron is a good omen among Indigenous people, and this piece will be the biggest one on the art walk.

The pieces are apparently up to "18 metres high and 9 metres across", so that must be almost the entire lane side of the Charlie West parking garage for it to be the largest.

I'm Indigenous myself so I'm fine with indigenous art, but this is going to look really awkward on the side of a condo. I was hoping for some proper art or design, not a mural.
