I agree, though I suppose they can't force the buyer to put up a skyscraper either. Then you'd also have NIMBY's from across the street complaining that they can no longer see the top trees of of Victoria Park if this building exceeds 6 floors.
You'd think with the LRT just behind this proposal though, should have been incentive enough. Though maybe they're worried about the HUB and Sixo. Either way, though I suppose I'd take a 6 storey office building with retail over an ugly parking lot just laying their like a dead crow in the streets.
