The Empress of India and Kentucky variety store at 101 and 103 King St N in Waterloo both seem to be closed and a demolition/construction fence is up around the perimeter of the lot.

Yes. I tried to go to Empress of India the other day and failed. Their website says they are moving to 34 King St S, which I guess is next to King St Trio. Not sure when they are re-opening.
