ION Phase 2 - Cambridge's Light Rail Transit

To be fair, those stops were seen as ridership-building opportunities, and overall most of those stops are where the route (if not the exact stops) of the proposed ION phase 2 alignment would go. Even if they were in the exact correct spot along the line, you would likely have center-running LRT down Hespeler, and it would be a sunk (e.g. to-be-demolished) cost.
