Architectures (23 part documentary series)
#1
I'd like to share this 23 part documentary series on YouTube titled Architectures that some of you may enjoy.

The series examines different architects and a selected work they designed in their careers. Itexplores everything from classical works to contemporary post-modern buildings, with emphasis on exploring the aesthetic aspects of the work rather than technicall, from the brutalism of Le Corbusier to Toyo Ito's neo-modern Japanese works to the idealism of Frank Lloyd Wright (which is personally my favourite, just for its daringness). If you're at all into architecture as an art, you'll like this.

An update! Someone has uploaded all 59 episodes of this ARTE documentary series covering a much greater range of buildings and movements. The quality is not the greatest unfortunately, but it's still a very interesting documentary series to watch to explore the finer architectural details and their ideas which went into each of these buildings. Here is a playlist to all 10 seasons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGKIkvV0...wh8-R6D0iE
