This is a great example of how to make a slab-like massing building much more attractive than the standard drewlo stuff. I doubt it costs much if any more than their stuff either.

Not much more expensive than the basic slab, no, especially as a percentage of total cost. 

That said, not all Drewlo buildings are equally grim: for example, Iron Horse Towers looks much better than Fallowfield Towers.
