The Mount Hope-Breithaupt Park Neighbourhood Association is planning a Bridge Re-Opening Party in a couple of Fridays. That's how exciting it is to have it back!

I passed the new bridge while driving down Victoria today. It is much more attractive than the span it replaced.

Obviously it sucks that it had to be replaced because it was structurally unsound, but the finished product does indeed look good. I like the fact that we seem to be starting to put an emphasis on making things downtown look good.

The Weber underpass for example looks fantastic, I think, High-heel/button art and all. Smile Hopefully King will be along these lines.
