I was in Edinburgh two weeks ago and saw the tram, but didn't get a chance to use it. I was surprised at how quiet the trains were as they passed by. Also surprised to see nada in the Leith Road when it was all torn up for tram construction when I was there a number of years ago. I gather Edinburgh is a good example of how NOT to build an LRT.
