ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit
The new Fairview stations seems like a bit of "sucking and blowing" on the Region's part. I would assume that Cadillac Fairview was opposed to anything the Region was proposing, including utilizing a portion of their (empty) parking lot on the western portion of their property for park'n'ride parking, but for the Region to expropriating two properties to build surface parking at a major intersection seems entirely against the entire reurbanization effort brought about by this very LRT.

This station is creeping more towards Fairview/Wilson than it is Fairview Mall, the true trip generator.
