ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit

Ah, some things never change. Tongue

IIRC, prior to the renovations to Fairview Park Mall a few years ago, Cadillac Fairview had also expressed interest in expanding The Bay over the existing terminal.

Regarding the new terminal however, I hate the design. It makes for awful transfers in comparison to a traditional 'island' platform. I'm most annoyed over their plan to add 4-5 additional bays adjacent to the 'north' platform as seen in the original render of the LRT platforms. I think a more appropriate spot would be adjacent the to 'south' platform, directly across from Leon's. There is more than enough room for 4-5 bays their while cutting down on some of the meandering patrons would have to do between platforms. An additional crosswalk around this spot would be appreciated as well.
