ION - Waterloo Region's Light Rail Transit
(09-14-2015, 09:42 PM)Canard Wrote: I think Erb/Caroline, Northfied/King North, and King/Victoria will be the most impressive intersection construction projects to watch out for.  So much volume through all 3 of those (especially Northfield/King North).

Simply the widening+services work going on in the stretch of Northfield from Colby to King has been an absolute nightmare, Westbound. Eastbound is always easier as people wanting to head North can take the 85 and South can take Conestogo Road behind Kraus Carpets.

King & Northfield being down for days? Ick. Very ick. Not relishing any of the Northfield work from a traffic point-of-view, but that intersection especially.

It's going to be worth it, but growing pains suck.
