Well, I'm glad they're not afraid of colour! Most buildings in the region before the student housing boom were just shades of grey and beige. I'm glad they're using more colour now.

Sorry, I don't think those qualify as "ghetto" or "slum" or "banlieu" either. Low income, yes, but that doesn't automatically make it a ghetto.

I spotted a new piece of equipment on site today. Maybe a shoring drill? I was walking down Cedar, so I didn't get a close look. I'll try to get a better look tomorrow afternoon.

They are trying into city services today as well. King St is closed in both directions Madison to Cedar

Looks like excavation has started dump trucks were lined up on Wednesday.
