I'd guess about the same...24 at the earliest. They've had a lot of bad luck on this one. They got started, then the pandemic hit. They kept working but since 1 tower was not yet at grade, they got penalized by the MOL (I think? Maybe MOH) since only residential projects that were at grade were permitted to continue at the start of all of that. Then the supply chains broke down, workers started getting sick, money started drying up. Now they've been hit by inflation, labour shortages and now a strike. I'm probably missing more events but yeah.
Drewlo may not be the best but it was good to see a large project on this side of town but a real shame they kept getting hit with misfortunes. Maybe this end of downtown is just cursed haha...it has always had the reputation of being the seedy, ghetto part of downtown Kitchener where nothing good ever happened (I joke, of course).
