If that bakery beside it ever goes up for sale, it would make for a great piece of development land. For sale behind it is a piece of property on Cedar Street that, while too small to build anything significant on its own, would easily be able to accommodate a new condo/office tower project if combined with the land the bakery is on. I'd like to see all these low rise/1 story buildings on this side of the city disappear and get replaced by something new.

Probably the rent would be too high ....

The rent on the current property would surely be higher than that, given the size of the property. Or the money they could get from selling, should they own it, would pay for many, many years of rent.

Definitely. It used to be a pretty worthless Harvey's but I imagine that piece of land is worth a hell of a lot of money now.

Nope, I remember it was the eastern end of the traditional King St cruise (western end was the donut place at King and Victoria), but I can't recall what the business was, nor what was on the corner before the current structure.
