Issues resolved?

Sounds like it! Great to hear. It's the ones at Mill/Ottawa and Hayward that were the issue.

Mill crossing - seems to stay down for quite a while after they've passed...

Apparently this happened Sunday https://www.kitchenertoday.com/local-new...sh-1052390

Ah, so that’s how they’re getting around the problems... they’re actually not sorted then. Yikes.
December!

On another note I made an oops at that crossing right after the time of that dashcam video which I ummm.... possibly conveniently trimmed
Basically after the arms went up and lights stopped flashing I started moving in response... I went past the stop line then realized the traffic lights were still red! And stopped again. Then it turned green and I proceeded. Wondering if maybe that timing could be better?

That’s a great discovery, and shows a big hole in the overall design. If you, an LRT enthusiast aware of the overall design and function of the intersection made that error, it means it’ll happen almost every time to the general public. It would be worth sending your video (Untrimmed!) to the project team.

Is it just something with your camera, or was the red traffic signal actually flashing? That would be bad, a red flashing signal means something very different (stop and proceed when clear) than a solid red signal (stop and wait).

I'll email them and try explaining what happened first and see if I can clear up that design. Will post back when I get something.
