Thanks!  I'm pretty sure this one is just washrooms - the one at Conestoga is more substantial, and I assume would have things like a lunch room and lockers.

The lounge at Highland Hills Terminal was surprisingly large in the inside. Two washrooms, fridge, cabinets, counter tops and 2 tables and chairs.

And, I hope, a clock and Wi-Fi.

An accurate clock. Or maybe that’s what you were getting at with the Wi-Fi.

Seems to have begun.

Let's hope so.  At the moment the taxis are using it, too, for standing in front of the transit terminal.

Forgot to post these from last night - curing tents on Frederick Street:

Too bad they weren't up during Hallowe'en Smile

There were a few smaller tents with heaters near King and William and King and Willis today.

Also, in watching for parking on the rapidway in uptown the last 5 weekdays I can say that I am very surprised so far. I checked in the morning, once during the day, and at the end of the day (so 5 x 3 = 15 spot checks) and I have seen a total of 1 delivery truck (near Wildcraft) and 1 car.
Everyone move to the back of the bus and we all get home faster.

I walked past the bus station twice today, and each time there were two taxis parked there.  DTK doesn't seem to do as well on this count.

Sorry if this was addressed earlier, but are the platforms equipped with radiant heating for the winter (as a replacement for salt)?

A couple of target stations (Conestoga, Block Line, Northfield, Grand River Hospital, and Fairway) will have on-demand heat - you push a button and the heater will activate.

The rails through the station areas where there's ballasted tracks got some rework done in the form of an anti-corrosion coating, but only in those areas - suggesting that salt will still be used on the platform itself. (There's no in-floor heating, if that's what you were asking)

For some reason I thought there was... I'm probably confusing it with Ottawa's stations.

There are signs (big ones!) now!

But are they parked, or simply standing?
(...I realize that both are illegal Smile )

I don't believe so. And I don't recall seeing the requisite grid of pipes that requires when they were building the platforms.
As Canard said, there are shelter heaters for the humans at select stations.

Good, solid, large indisputable sign, there. Nobody can claim to miss it.

Pipes?  That would be for water heating I would think, you can instead do it with electric resistance heating, which only requires a thin layer of wires.  It would probably go under the top coat anyway, and I would guess would be more efficient being closer to where the heat is actually needed.

Funny, I was going to point out that the sign fails to note that "driving" is also illegal, as I've seen some people use the tracks as a lane.
