Also, Dave Jaworsky, Berry Vrbanovic, and Doug Craig have solid leads. They aren't going to lose.
For Waterloo regional councillor, it looks like Sean Strickland is going to finish first, with Jane Mitchell in 2nd and Karen Scian in 3rd. I'd bet on Strickland but not on the Mitchell/Scian distribution.
How do we feel about these?
I'd say that Waterloo Regional Councillor's second seat is currently a 3-way tossup between Telegdi, Scian, and Mitchell. I'm happy with the Waterloo and Kitchener results, and mildly disappointed but not surprised by Cambridge.
Karen Redman leading in Kitchener's Regional Councillor race is a bit of a surprise to me because I didn't seem to see much of her campaign. She's probably a good choice though. Glad to see Tom Galloway up there as well.
EDIT: I know nothing about Ward 2 in Waterloo, but that's the only one that seems to have a contest at this point. Looks like the others are all pretty decided (I think to the incumbents where they're running, but not certain about that).
