WRPS HQ project (200 Frederick St, Kitchener)

It's in the Civic Centre block, so definitely it will stay in the hands of the region (possibly Kitchener, but I think that would be a stretch). Would not be surprised if they installed a building that 'matches' the neighbouring regional building with the copper roof to expand office capacity for the region long-term.

The Region is a flexible work space now. With over 50% of the office staff working from home. I do not foresee this changing. In order for the region to attract talent they need to offer this type of work environment. The current HQ building is at maybe 25% capacity right now.

Police will be using the space for a while as they transfer operations over to the new HQ. After that, I think it will continue to be regionally owned land with some sort of Cultural tenant.
