Yeah there's parking in the center of the podium, they didn't go deep enough for all the parking to be underground.

There must be a problem with the tower crane. They have had a mobile crane moving forms for the King St tower for the last 2 weeks

And mobile crane is still there. No sign of the tower crane being disassembled for repair yet.

Signs up between Cedar and Cameron saying King will be closed for two days October 13th. 

Perhaps something happening then?

the city website says its for Kitchener Wilmot hydro so maybe not crane repair.

Drewlo is supposed to be two cranes. But currently only one, and even that one doesn't appear to be functional.
