It looks like the walls of the first floor of the condos are going up.

Have they completed the first floor of condos?

They completed the first floor but the layout doesn't suggest condos.  They are now putting up walls for the second floor but I still don't see a repeating pattern or template for the condos.  This project seems to have a lot of open space surrounding the condo tower.

Maybe amenity space?

Absolutely.  The fifth floor has a communal garden terrace among other things.  This page has the building and amenities.

It doesn't look like it affects the condo tower so they could wait until the very end. But it would make sense to do it when there at a lower height.

Yes, that makes sense because it is part of the podium and the tower does not extend over that far by the looks of it...

Looking at this link https://www.dtkcondos.ca/pictures/ , it does look to me that they are now building the condo tower portion. Also, maybe the crane needs to rise soon?

Another view from the ground level.

Crane height envy!

Not to be outdone by Charlie West or City Centre/Young condominiums the crane at DTK was raised stealthily, without any fanfare. I noticed this morning that it was higher than yesterday.  It's hard to see on the pic but parts of the crane near the bottom are more red and less rusty than the rest of the crane.

Thank you for the update. So this crane rises from the bottom, unlike Charlie West?

Someone on WRC said it did but my knowledge of cranes is minimal.
