Great photograph!

That ION stop in the bottom is the ugliest thing  ... maybe someday the Region will design better "stations" for people.

It's just a simple stop. On the downside, we have low-cost LRT stations. On the upside, we actually have an LRT, unlike some other Ontario cities.

I believe the stops will be expanded in the future at least, when they begin to run two sets of trains together (I forget when this was projected to start). Each station was built to hold a pair of trains, but so far they only built shelter and seating for one train length. I doubt they'll look much different, though. Some more enclosed sheltering would be nice.

I agree @ more enclosed shelter space. If you want people to take up the LRT and I imagine you want that to last year round, some better heating devices in each would also be great. The current ones are laughable and unless completely directly under itfacing it, you'd miss the faint, very minor essence of warmth that emanates from them.

I just used my fingers as a scale on that photo, and I added 3 more of the height that is already there... that is really tall!

It's going to be huge compared to what's around it. And that's a good thing.
