The counter jib was attached this morning.  I expect the jib to be finished today.  By the way, that crane looks very tall.

It is taller compared to some as a starting point. It will get taller once it starts progressing too.

It looks taller than the crane at DTK.

By the way,  the jib and counter jib are now up.

DTK is very short, especially considering it's going to top out at close to 400 feet.

It's the sort that will rise along with the building below it.

Is it me, or is that a super long jib? And if that's the case, I can't imagine them needing two cranes, but I am probably wrong.

that is exactly what i was thinking, it could just be perspective from looking up and not being able to see the ground but it doesn't look as if it reaches the far corner of the cameron/charles tower.
Edit: You can see in westwardloo's post that they are on the side of Cameron closest to the site. Because of that and the fact that the boom doesn't go onto Cameron we draw a radius around that tower crane on GIS mapping and it misses the Charles/Cameron tower's corner by 4-5 meters so they are going to need another crane or something. But like we've all said this is the wierdest site ever so who at this point knows if they will add another crane.

With that weird base they have this crane on, maybe it will float to the Cameron tower?, lol
