I just walked by there and saw the pavement markings. It looks like a ~4.5m width sidewalk is going down to about ~3.0 m where the black wall is. It does not appear as though this will be a significant bottleneck. It may appear so because the whole are is very sidewalk-heavy, but this new restricted path is still far wider than most sidewalks typically are.

Was walking along side the Kaufman Lofts @ Francis today. They've only been working on the section for what, 1 week, maybe 2 now? Yet they already had a cat pole foundation in next to the Lofts. Kind of strange considering the minimum 3 months still left on this road closure.
Even stranger still, the foundation was on the west side of the road, when track here is supposed to be running on the east side. Anyone know why that might be?

Ah, that could be. They might have on set back because the curve of the road reduces visibility. Still a bit premature for any sort of foundation though, I would think.

If they work through the weekend I would say it's doable.

Really? That's not supposed to be done until Mid-June! Is track laid and everything?

Track does not go through that intersection per se, so perhaps it hasn't?

Track will only go across the north side of the intersection and along the north side of Allen, so the intersection proper could be done with only the track left to lay once the rest of Allen is ready.

True. Gaukel was reopened without tracks. It was closed again later, and a strip of asphalt was taken out to allow building of the track.
