That's a great design. I love how the old house becomes a feature for the greenspace.

I did, too. It's quite deceiving. I like the plan overall (I actually especially like the look of that building on the left), but interaction with the sidewalk here is critical. A two-storey-tall blank wall as seen in that picture would be terrible.

Would that retaining wall be part of the developer’s project or is it Regional (or railway?) infrastructure?

Oh come on! It's not blank, they totally put some squiggily lines on... but yeah I think they should build right up to the sidewalk at a site like this.

Fix the blank wall and we've got something great

What is the likelihood that the squiggly-line wall is representing the retaining wall for the grade separation? That's how I read it at first, though looking at Google Street View it doesn't seem to line up entirely right.

That retaining wall is maybe 10m, tops. This is the full length past the Moore intersecton.

Any idea of what they are building beside the funeral home where the flower shop was. It has a foundation seems kinda permanent for it to be a sales office

RE: Station Park (née SIXO) | 28 + 20? + 12? + ? fl | Proposed - KevinL - 07-31-2019

Did they build a foundation for it special, or just re-use the demolished flower shop's base?

I drove by today and actually was very surprised at what I saw. It's not an existing foundation, but it's something new they're building. My only guess is that this building might be the sales office that will be part of the new building once they start the rest of it.

From what I've heard the sales centre will not be part of any final structure there. It will be very impressive though. Anyone care to guess how much $ is going into the sales centre?

I just received an email today introducing the first phase. https://mailchi.mp/stationpark.com/welcome-to-station-park-first-release-september-2019?e=c5be81d98f

The first phase will be called Union Towers 18 and 28 stories ...

Can't wait to see renders! If sales launch next month, I wonder how sales at the Young condo project will be affected?

It all depends on what they are offering. I expect Station Park to be priced higher than Young Condos.

Asd always, I wonder about over-building, but as long as investors are lining up to buy condos to rent out to techies, I guess we're not there yet.
