RE: Post your pictures of Waterloo Region! - tomh009 - 08-08-2016 Scissor gate on the elevator? Is it too much to hope for? RE: Post your pictures of Waterloo Region! - clasher - 08-08-2016 I don't recall a gate on the elevator but it's been over 5 years so I can't say for certain. RE: Post your pictures of Waterloo Region! - kitborn - 08-09-2016 When we were at the Blues Festival on the weekend, I couldn't help thinking that this view will change when the transit terminal will no longer be used. RE: Post your pictures of Waterloo Region! - BuildingScout - 08-09-2016 The plan is to extend the park via a pedestrian street on Gaukel. I think connecting Victoria Park with downtown is a great opportunity and parts of the old terminal lands should be used for this. The rest should be mixed use (apartments & commercial). Given how many startups are relocating to this general vicinity there is likely to be a strong demand for both.
