22 Frederick St redevelopment | Completed - Spokes - 12-06-2018 22 Frederick
RE: 22 Frederick St - Spokes - 12-06-2018 Europro doubles down on the downtown Quote:Market Square will be losing a couple of its largest tenants in the coming weeks, but the building's owner says its outlook for downtown Kitchener has never been brighter. RE: 22 Frederick - panamaniac - 12-06-2018 Not to immediately take things off-topic, but I wonder if that render for 22 Frederick doesn't signal the future look of Market Square as well? The fact that they are retaining (unfortunately) and recladding the pedestrian bridge would seem to suggest it. RE: 22 Frederick St - Spokes - 12-06-2018 Hmmm good thought. I think it depends what happens to that 2nd floor. There's not a lot that can be done with it where the walkway comes out. RE: 22 Frederick St - robdrimmie - 12-06-2018 Craig Haney led the Canadian Tire Innovation lab at Communitech for many years (and can reasonably be credited with introducing the model to Communitech) and running the Innovation Lab program at Communitech for several years. I knew he'd gone into real estate, I didn't realize he was at Europro. He's genuinely smart and driven. I'm genuinely eager to see what they do over the next few years now. RE: 22 Frederick St - Belmonster - 12-10-2018 That's a dramatic change! I wonder if the interior pillars correspond to the current outer edge of the building? The rounded shape where the interior pillars meet the ceiling seems similar to the rounded exterior of the building as it exists today. RE: 22 Frederick St - PassTheBruce - 01-08-2019 I'm tired of seeing everything brick being painted grey RE: 22 Frederick St - panamaniac - 01-08-2019 (01-08-2019, 09:53 PM)PassTheBruce Wrote: I'm tired of seeing everything brick being painted grey Is this a paint job? I assumed it was going to be a recladding. I've mentioned before that I think K-W risks overdoing it on the grey facades. RE: 22 Frederick St - jgsz - 04-23-2019 Yesterday I noticed this sign for Financial Horizons Group at 22 Frederick. This is their national office. The Sun Life Financial sign is still on the other side of the building. RE: 22 Frederick St - BruceAshe - 05-21-2019 I noticed today that there is demolition fencing up around the front entrance of the building. I've been avoiding walking down Frederick lately (the sporadic sidewalk closures at Weber St have grown tiring) so I'm not sure how long it's been there. RE: 22 Frederick St - Spokes - 05-22-2019 Not surprised. You'd think they'd want to get started ASAP RE: 22 Frederick St redevelopment - tomh009 - 06-14-2019 .. and they have started! RE: 22 Frederick St redevelopment - Spokes - 06-15-2019 Anyone know how much of this building is currently occupied? RE: 22 Frederick St redevelopment - ac3r - 06-16-2019 Will they be removing all the red brick from this building, or just the ground level? The render makes it hard to tell if they just made it grey for the sake of the picture, or they plan on recladding it. Quite a task if it's the latter. |
