What design? the 2nd tower? no, it won't be shifting... it is the final design RE: Mayfair Hotel | 0 fl | Complete - jeffster - 08-10-2018 (08-10-2018, 06:56 AM)Spokes Wrote: Kind of wierd they wouldn't including the new tower too Same...I guess separate projects mean separate renders. The Young Condo's was a weird render though, as it seems to include very tall condo's that don't exist yet. And owners. RE: Mayfair Hotel | 6 fl | Proposed - Spokes - 12-07-2018 This could be a fairly dramatic, and disappointing shift for this site: Quote:Seiling hasn’t seen the application just yet, but there’s a six-storey office building being contemplated on the former Mayfair site next to city hall. RE: Mayfair Hotel | 6 fl | Proposed - panamaniac - 12-07-2018 Where is that quote from? This would be one storey taller than the last proposal, no (post #314)? What is the disappointing aspect? RE: Mayfair Hotel | 6 fl | Proposed - Spokes - 12-07-2018 Was it not supposed to be retail/restaurant on the ground floor, boutique hotel in the middle floors and a restaurant on the top floor? From the previous Record story: Quote:A glass-walled office building with a rooftop restaurant and patio will be constructed at a high-profile intersection next to Kitchener City Hall.Rooftop restaurant. No hotel. And note that while it has ground-floor retail, it's still described as an "office building".
