The walk from the bus mall to the Cinema is pretty long. I did that once in February, and don't want to do it again.
I look forward to a consolidated North Boardwalk transit stop. I believe it is on the books, and coming soon.

Yes, admittedly in February even 500m can seem long. But for most of the year, it's really not that far for a reasonably healthy person.

Yes, but when you can usually park within 50 meters of the door, it's a big incentive to drive. Especially when that 500 meters isn't past a relatively pleasant street-front, but past rows and rows of parked cars in an asphalt desert.

The cinema-to-bus-mall distance is 715m, following sidewalks, which is a requirement in February. Certainly on the outer edge of "not that far", considering the buses are not a frequent service.

That's what you get with the big box-style malls.
Still, I will personally walk that distance, even if my car is parked there (to get to the mall in the first place).

The major problem is that Lowe's separates the cinema from the central part of the Boardwalk. How many transit users are going to Lowes versus the theatre?

My guess is that Lowe's secured the more-central location before the cinema came along. Few commercial landlords will earmark locations for specific tenant types -- the risk is that you never sign up such a tenant, and end up with vacant space.

No, pictured is the pair of new office buildings at the University Ave entrance to The Boardwalk. The Medical center is near the Thorndale entrance at the other end.

Unless there are going to be two medical centre's, the building on the right is labeled as such.

You're right. I saw the two identical buildings, and thought they were the two new office buildings that are almost finished at the University entrance.
Not sure why they've pictured two medical centres side by side!
